So it's back to Stoke and back to reality.
This time last week I had just finished my trip to Iceland - what a trip it was!

BIRTHDAY SHOUTOUTS
Jerry Springer turns 68 today, y'know the one - JERRY JERRRRYYY.
Tuning 19 today is west end star Sophie Evans who currently plays Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.
Jerry doesn't seem too happy he's another year older!
AROUND THE GLOBE
Today on the Globe we were joined by the lovely Laura Winter from Germany!
N: So Laura how long have you lived in Germany and where abouts?
L: My whole life apart from when travelling and studying and I live in the south west, near Stuttgart.
N: What is Germany most known for and what are the most famous sights?
L: There are so many we have the Koelner Dom (Cologne Cathedral) its so amazing in there, the Dresden Frauenkirche which is a famous church and of course all the famous tours in Berlin.
N: What about any food specialities?
L: My friends find it weird but we have these special white sausages with pretzels. Of course, we are known for our beers and Bratwurst sausages. We also have a special chocolate cake which is served with cherries and cream, it tastes so good!
N: Who is the most famous person from Germany?
L: We have loads, Heidi Klum, Michael Schumacher and footballer Oliver Kahn.
N: Oh lovely! and have you got any interesting facts for us?
S: Angela Merkel is the the first woman to be given the title as Chancellor of Germany.
N: Of course yes! Its been absolutely brilliant having you on the Globe today Laura, a real pleasure :)

DID YOU KNOW? The traditional dresses worn during Oktoberfest, called Dirndls would be fab on a night out... The apron that goes on top of it shows whether you're in a relationship or looking! If you tie the knot to the right it means you're taken, left single and in the middle, not quite sure!
